Prayers

Living a Christian life is not genuine and complete without a consistent time of prayer. We do believe that this is our direct communication with the Lord and praise Him.

Ultimately, the main purpose of prayer is adoring and glorifying God, our Majesty and not anyone or anything else. Just as the Lord Jesus Christ taught us our guide with the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13.

"So pray this way: Our Father in heaven, may Your name be honored, may Your kingdom come, may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we ourselves have forgiven our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."

Some people say that prayer is only about asking God for things or favors. Prayer is not about making demands or bargaining with God, or a way of showing off one’s spirituality before others.

The biblical instruction about prayer is that we pray persistently, unselfishly, and in faith for the good things that we truly need, but according to the will of God, in the authority of Jesus Christ.

Interceding or praying for others is what we always do in many ways and wherever we are because we know and believe what Jesus said that “Where two or three gathered in My name, there am I among them.

"And this is the confidence we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” - 1 John 5:14
